Vallentuna IBK was one of 59 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Katrineholm Innebandy Cup 2018. They participated with two teams in Flickor 04 and Flickor 03 respectively. The team in Flickor 03 made it to the the Final in Slutspeland won it over Storvreta IBK by 2-1.

In addition to this, Vallentuna IBK have participated in Katrineholm Innebandy Cup before. During Katrineholm Innebandy Cup 2017, Vallentuna IBK had 6 teams playing in Pojkar 04, Pojkar 03, Pojkar 02, Flickor 04, Flickor 03 and Flickor 02 respectively. Four teams played until Final in Slutspel; Pojkar 04 won over Högdalens AIS by 5-2, Flickor 03 won over ÅKERSBERGA IBF by 4-1, Flickor 02 won over Nynäshamns IBK by 3-0 and Flickor 04 lost against FBI Tullinge by 0-3.

Vallentuna IBK comes from Vallentuna which lies approximately 120 km from Katrineholm, where Katrineholm Innebandy Cup takes place. The area around Vallentuna does also provide 19 additional clubs participating during Katrineholm Innebandy Cup 2018 (Among others: Värmdö IF, Mariebergs SK, FBI Tullinge, Rosersbergs IK, Sundbybergs IK, Täby FC, Ängby If, Älvsjö AIK IBF, Rosersbergs IK/Arlanda IBK and Älvsjö Aik).
