In addition to Katrineholms IBF, 7 other teams played in Pojkar 04. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Katrineholms IBF could be found in Group A together with Älvsjö Aik Röd, Rosersbergs IK/Arlanda IBK and Lillån IBK.
Katrineholms IBF continued to Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group A. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Karlstad IBF with 1-5. In the Final, Lillån IBK won over Rosersbergs IK/Arlanda IBK and became the winner of Slutspel in Pojkar 04. Katrineholms IBF also participated in Pojkar 04 during Katrineholm Innebandy Cup 2017.
