SMÅ IF was one of 70 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Katrineholm Innebandy Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Flickor 09.
In addition to SMÅ IF, 7 other teams played in Flickor 09. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof SMÅ IF could be found in Group A together with Vaxholms IBF Mina favoriter, Onsala IBK and Standard ik. SMÅ IF continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group A. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Töjnan IBK with 0-3. In the Final, Vaxholms IBF Mina favoriter won over Töjnan IBK and became the winner of Slutspel B in Flickor 09. SMÅ comes from Stora Mellösa which lies approximately 47 km from Katrineholm, where Katrineholm Innebandy Cup takes place.
