In addition to Katrineholms IBF, 15 other teams played in Pojkar 09. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Katrineholms IBF could be found in Group C together with Midas IBK, Bele Barkarby IBF and Sköndals IK.
Katrineholms IBF continued to Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group C. In the playoff they made it to 3-4, but lost it against Rimforsa IF with 2-3. In the Final, Rimforsa IF won over Huddinge IBS and became the winner of Slutspel in Pojkar 09. Katrineholms IBF also participated in Pojkar 09 during Katrineholm Innebandy Cup 2022.
