In addition to the two Vallentuna IBK teams, 14 other teams played in Pojkar 09. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Vallentuna IBK 1 could be found in Group B together with IBK Hallsta, Huddinge IBS and Ledbergs IBF.

Vallentuna IBK 1 continued to Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group B. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Kumla IBK with 1-3. In the Final, Midas IBK won over Kumla IBK and became the winner of Slutspel in Pojkar 09.

Vallentuna IBK also participated in Pojkar 09 during Katrineholm Innebandy Cup 2022. They reached the final in Slutspel B, but lost it against Vaxholm IBF with 3-4 and ended up in second place.
