In addition to the two Vallentuna IBK teams, 14 other teams played in Pojkar 09. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Vallentuna IBK 2 could be found in Group D together with Kumla IBK, Rimforsa IF and Örby IS.
Vallentuna IBK 2 continued to Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group D. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Midas IBK with 1-6. In the Final, Midas IBK won over Kumla IBK and became the winner of Slutspel in Pojkar 09. Vallentuna IBK also participated in Pojkar 09 during Katrineholm Innebandy Cup 2022.
