In addition to Älta IF, 19 other teams played in Pojkar 08. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Älta IF could be found in Group A together with Skoghalls IBK Utveckling 1, Enköpings IBK and Linköpings IBK P08:86.

Älta IF continued to Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group A. In the playoff they made it to 3-10, but lost it against Landvetter Wings with 1-2. In the Final, Landvetter Wings won over Skoghalls IBK Utveckling 2 and became the winner of Slutspel in Pojkar 08.

Älta IF also participated in Pojkar 08 during Katrineholm Innebandy Cup 2022. They reached the final in Slutspel B, but lost it against Skoghalls IBK Utveckling 1 with 2-3 and ended up in second place.
