In addition to Vallentuna IBK, 10 other teams played in Pojkar 09. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Vallentuna IBK could be found in Group A together with Katrineholms IBF and KFUM Norrköping.
Vallentuna IBK continued to Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group A. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IBK Hallsta with 3-5. In the Final, IBK Hallsta won over Älvsjö AIK IBF and became the winner of Slutspel in Pojkar 09. Vallentuna IBK also participated in Pojkar 09 during Katrineholm Innebandy Cup 2023.
