In addition to katrineholms IBF, 17 other teams played in Pojkar 05. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof katrineholms IBF could be found in Group D together with IBF Borlänge Blå, Skälby IBK RödSvart, Vaxholms IBF VIBF and Ledberg Innebandy.
katrineholms IBF continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group D. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against IBF Borlänge Blå with 2-5. In the Final, IBF Borlänge Blå won over IBK Köping and became the winner of Slutspel B in Pojkar 05. Katrineholms IBF also participated in Pojkar 05 during Katrineholm Innebandy Cup 2018.
