Vaksala was one of 70 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Katrineholm Innebandy Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Pojkar 08.

In addition to Vaksala, 11 other teams played in Pojkar 08. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Vaksala could be found in Group A together with Väsby AIK P08, Hjulsbro and Skoghalls IBK Utveckling 1.

Vaksala continued to Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group A. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Nykvarns IF with 1-5. In the Final, Nykvarns IF won over Vallentuna ibk and became the winner of Slutspel in Pojkar 08.

Vaksala comes from Uppsala which lies approximately 130 km from Katrineholm, where Katrineholm Innebandy Cup takes place. The area around Uppsala does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Katrineholm Innebandy Cup 2022 (Rosersberg/ Arlanda IBK, RA19, Sirius IBK, Vaksala SK, Örsundsbro IF, Almunge ik, Sigtuna IF IBK and IS SAGA).
