Vallentuna IBK was one of 81 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Katrineholm Innebandy Cup 2023. They participated with four teams in Pojkar 10 and Pojkar 09 respectively. Three teams played until Semi final in Slutspel; Pojkar 10 1 lost against CL98IC by 1-4, Pojkar 10 2 lost against Mesta IBK by 0-2 and Pojkar 09 2 lost against Midas IBK by 1-6.

In addition to this, Vallentuna IBK have participated in Katrineholm Innebandy Cup before. During Katrineholm Innebandy Cup 2022, Vallentuna IBK had 4 teams playing in Pojkar 09, Pojkar 08 and Pojkar 06 respectively. The team in Pojkar 08 made it to the the Final in Slutspel, but lost it against Nykvarns IF by 1-3.

Vallentuna IBK comes from Vallentuna which lies approximately 120 km from Katrineholm, where Katrineholm Innebandy Cup takes place. The area around Vallentuna does also provide 26 additional clubs participating during Katrineholm Innebandy Cup 2023 (Among others: Sigtuna IF IBK, Sickla IF, Väsby AIK, Hässelby SK IBK, Vaxholm, Rosersberg/ Arlanda IBK, RA19, FBI Tullinge, Ekerö ik, Örby IS and Högalid IF).
