AIK IBF was one of 81 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Katrineholm Innebandy Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Pojkar 08.

In addition to AIK IBF, 19 other teams played in Pojkar 08. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof AIK IBF could be found in Group D together with Skoghalls IBK Utveckling 2, Nykvarns IF and Rimforsa IF.

AIK IBF continued to Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group D. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against FBC Partille with 2-3. In the Final, FBC Partille won over Nykvarns IF and became the winner of Slutspel in Pojkar 08.

AIK IBF comes from Solna which lies approximately 110 km from Katrineholm, where Katrineholm Innebandy Cup takes place. The area around Solna does also provide 30 additional clubs participating during Katrineholm Innebandy Cup 2023 (Among others: Nykvarns IF, Sigtuna IF IBK, Sickla IF, Väsby AIK, Hässelby SK IBK, Vallentuna IBK, Vaxholm, Rosersberg/ Arlanda IBK, RA19, Vendelsö IK and FBI Tullinge).
